Special Evening of Speculative Fiction
Matthew Kressel's fiction has or will soon be appearing in Electric Velocipede, Abyss & Apex, Apex Digest, Farrago's Wainscot, Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, and other venues. He also runs Senses Five Press, which publishes Sybil's Garage and the forthcoming Paper Cities, An Anthology of Urban Fantasy. His website is www.matthewkressel.net.
Alaya Dawn Johnson's speculative short fiction has appeared in Interzone, Strange Horizons, Fantasy Magazine, Pseudopod, Year's Best Fantasy 6 and Year's Best SF 11. Her first novel, Racing the Dark, was released by Agate Bolden this past October. According to School Library Journal, "The prose is lyrical and metaphorical, in a style similar to Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist." She hopes this is a compliment, as she has never actually read The Alchemist. Her hobbies include eating vegetarian Indian food and haunting coffee shops with her writing group, Altered Fluid.
E.C. Myers struggles to stay awake in the city that never sleeps. Some of the results of his sleep deprivation have appeared in various publications, including Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, Touched By Wonder: A Symphony of Fantastic Tales, Sporty Spec: Games of the Fantastic, and Loving the Undead: An Anthology of Romance. Sort of. He is a graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop and a member of Altered Fluid, a New York writing group. More information about him and his work can be found at ecmyers.net.
