Mauro Altamura, native and resident of NJ. MFA, SUNY Buffalo. Visual Artist, international exhibitions since 1977. Fellowships include NEA, NJ & NY Arts Council. Associate Professor NJ City University. Finally found his way to writing after a long search.
Brandon Mazur is in his final semester of the Rutgers-Newark MFA program. When asked “Aren’t you excited to be graduating?” he replies “No, because I’ll be unemployed.” His poetry has recently appeared at failbetter.com, and he lives in Jersey City.
Daniel Flynn is a second year MFA student at Rutgers University – Newark. He writes poems which focus upon his roots as a sleepy boy learning limits near the ocean in New Jersey to a married man opening global ideas as easy as bridge and tunnel.
Kim Shaw teaches at a NJ high school, is a student in the inaugural class of the Rutgers Newark MFA Creative Writing Program and has had six romance novels published. She enjoys teaching, studying and spending time with her family.
Paul Vidich’s fiction, essays, and interviews?have appeared in The Nation, Narrative Magazine, Wordriot.org, and elsewhere. His stories have been shorted listed for the 2008 Glimmer Train Award for New Writers, the 2008 Raymond Carver Short Story Contest, and the 2009 Richard Bausch Short Story Contest. He is a board member of Poets and Writers.
