Trumpet Fiction: 10 year anniversary!
Mark Goldblatt has published a lot of stuff over a long period of time. His controversial novel AFRICA SPEAKS, a satire of black urban culture, was published by Permanent Press in 2002. He teaches at Fashion Institute of Technology. He was the very first reader in the Trumpet Fiction series, an honor that he takes very seriously.
Margaret Hundley Parker’s work has been published in the New York Times Book Review, Time Out New York, Oxygen.com, Bust, and performed at the North Carolina Literary Festival, CBGBs, the Dog & Pony Show, the 24-Hour Plays, and with the Chapel Hill band Speed McQueen. She has been an editor at FIT magazine and Road & Travel. Her book, the KISS Guide to Fitness, was published in 2002 by Dorling Kindersley. Her most recent publications have been on couture fashion for the Detroit MetroTimes, and rock and roll and grammar for Visual Thesaurus.com. She has an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College, and teaches writing at Pratt.
