Jessie recently emigrated from Brooklyn to Manhattan to serve as a program coordinator at Columbia University. Her family is a constant source of support and material. Zaedryn Meade (www.zaedryn.com) is a queer butch activist\, classically trained poet\, spoken word performer\, and smut writer who has published three chapbooks and one spoken word CD. Her smut stories and poetry can be found in various collections including NPR'\;s "\;This I Believe"\; project and three Best Lesbian Erotica collections.  She was awarded an Honorable Mention in poetry from the Astraea Emerging Lesbian Writers Fund in 2007.
